Stormpaw is a handsome tom; he is a large gray tabby with wonderful blue eyes. His pelt is a the gray color of the clouds, whenever there is a storm, thus the reason for his name. His build is large; as if made for battling and not hunting. If you compare him to a new warrior, one that is a small she-cat; then you may see how large Stormpaw truly is. He would be just a tad bit smaller than the she-cat compared to; but still, that’s pretty big for a six moon old apprentice.

Personality: Stormpaw is one of those toms that are caring and sweet and kind. He’s a big softie. He doesn’t care what others think of him because of it; after all, he grew up barely knowing his father and with his sister and mother. He knows how to treat she-cats because of it. He is very caring actually; and he tends to be “gentlemanly” towards she-cats. Kind and sweet. It was the way his mother raised him; and those that knew his father would say they were similar. As that was how Thrushfur was; kind, sweet, and caring to the boot. Stormpaw is a good tom to talk to, especially since he knows how to listen and he doesn’t actually pretend to care; he is genuine about everything he says and does.

To toms, he’s just “one of the guys”, but he is more of the cautious one; the one that needs to be challenged to go along with the rest. He likes to protect his pride. Once in a while, though, he won’t rise up to the challenge, simply because he finds it too dangerous or actually life-threatening. He will be just as “manly” as every other tom around, but he knows the limit. He knows when they shouldn’t do certain things, just because their toms; like trying to fight off a fox or a badger alone, or with a small group. He can be called a reasonable tom in his clan; one that knows the limits.

Don’t let this fool you though; Stormpaw is very passionate about being a warrior, as he is about everything he does. If he feels something is wrong, he’ll go against it, even if he would be the only one. Stormpaw stands up for what he believes in, and he isn’t easy to sway once he has his mind set on something. It is from this stubbornness that Stormpaw is hard to persuade. This stubbornness also helps in his loyalty, as he won’t go against RiverClan no matter what; unless RiverClan is going against StarClan. However, if his leader does something he thinks is wrong, he won’t hesitate to go against his leader; but he won’t ever overthrow or try to overthrow his leader. Just get go against a decision he didn’t believe was the right one.

Another thing about Stormpaw is that he is one of those toms that puts his all into his work; he strives to do his best so he can be the best. He doesn’t let it affect him in any way shape or form, but he does strive for it. It’s not like he’s obsessed with being the best apprentice or warrior or anything, but he just likes to know that whatever it is, he was the best he could be at it; and that’s all that really matters to him. He just doesn’t strive for himself either, he encourages and pushes others to the best of their abilities as well. Stormpaw just does it in a nice, encouraging “you can do it” kind of way. He doesn’t like it when others put themselves down, but he also doesn’t like arrogance. He knows there is a difference between confidence and arrogance; mainly because he is confident in himself; but he is not arrogant. To other clan cats, Stormpaw may not be as sweet and kind, he gets a little guarded around the other clans. However, he is friendly and polite; just not as he is in his clan is all.

All in all, Stormpaw is that type of tom that sticks to what be believes in, and stands up for what he believes in, no matter the consequences. He’s the tom that’s the softie; that is caring, sweet and kind. He thinks of others before himself; but he won’t let that ruin his pride, he likes to protect it. Sometimes though, he knows when not to; he knows the limits. In everything he does, whether it be apprentice duties, hunting, or training, he does with passion. He puts his heart and soul into everything he does, and he strives to be the best he could be, just to know he did it. A hard worker to the core.

History:
Stormkit
Stormkit was the only tom born to Thrushfur and Redfoot; two RiverClan warriors. He was the second born out of three kits, and Thrushfur named him for his stormy colored pelt; the first being Rumblekit, named by Redfoot, and the last born being Hollykit, also named by Redfoot. Thrushfur was a proud father that day, already taking in the fact that he had two beautiful daughters and a healthy son. He could already see it; him training Stormkit into a formidable warrior; the two of them battling side by side. However, it was cut short; as he was called for part of a border patrol. When he returned, he was severely injured; needing to stay in the medicine cat den for a few nights. It was a moon later that he finally lost the battle with StarClan, Stormkit could barely remember him. Only the soft brush of his father’s tongue as he visited Redfoot and the two remaining kits.

Rumblekit had not lasted; she was too weak to survive the first night; the night Thrushfur was away on border patrol. Redfoot was distraught, demanding that someone go and get Thrushfur, so he may bury their beloved Rumblekit. When he came in injured, Redfoot wailed and cried; worried she might lose her mate and her kit. It was for her and their kits that Thrushfur held on as long as he had; the medicine cat was even surprised at it. However, in the end; both Thrushfur and Rumblekit were lost. Hollykit and Stormkit had not understood what had happened during the time; they couldn’t even remember Rumblekit; and both had only fuzy, dream-like memories of their father.

When they were old enough to eat prey and walk, Stormkit was always playful and playing whatever Hollykit had wanted to play. He didn’t even stop to think that he could choose to play whatever he wanted, and Hollykit would’ve played with him; it was almost natural he let Hollykit choose. When the other kits made fun of him because of it, Stormkit would either play-fight with them, and usually win, or he’d give them a smart remark. Stormkit was almost like the perfect brother; almost being the key word. Why? Because he was still a brother; and like all big brothers, he picked on her and teased Hollykit; but only in that caring way brothers can.

Stormpaw
When Stormkit was made an apprentice, and given the name Stormpaw, the large tabby was ecstatic. He was excited; he and Hollypaw both. Though they had different mentors, of course, the two of them had promised, more like she made him promise, to train together every chance they got. He planned to hold to that promise; and he still does. Nothing had truly happened during his apprenticeship; he still remained the sweet, caring and kind Stormpaw that everyone knew from the nursery. And to Hollypaw, he remained the sweet, big brother that teases her mercilessly in the caring way that brothers do.

Now -- Stormpaw
Now, Stormpaw is just working and focusing on his apprentice duties and warrior training. He plans to be the best he could be; but he isn’t looking for power; he’s just looking for a good name in the Clan. Stormpaw is just looking for strength and skills he could protect and feed his clan with; he couldn’t care less about becoming leader or deputy. All he cares about was getting the clan protected and fed; and that’s what he is aiming for.

Other: Hmm…oh yes! The mentors; will they be chosen once there are more cats? Or will you assign them from the cats already created? This goes for Featherpaw and Cloudpaw (my to-be-made WindClan apprentice) as well :’3

Uh, I'm not quite sure. I suggest pming Kails otherwise I believe you are assign to them by your cat's clan leader which is Eaglestar in this case (played by me). Seeing as we haven't got many cats in RiverClan we can assign Stormpaw to Eaglestar, if you want <3
